Since May 6th we started experiencing the same issue.
According to our Admin, no firewall policies where changed on the SAS-server.

Is there a way to debug the API-calls from the function, or log the results, without recreating them from the source code?

Are you using the default client ID or your own? Have you checked the "openid" checkbox when SASLogon asked you to Authrize Access?
You can click Help > Toggle Developer Tools from the top menu bar to see if any error details in the console.

This was a really helpful question - turns out, the issue was with me using my credentials to log into SAS (which in turn does not shot the "openid" checkbox), instead of using SSO!
