It could have a delay time adjustment in the response in milliseconds.
e.g.:

Normal response time + delay time.

This would be useful to check the timeout response on the master device and simulate slower devices.
leaving it as default = 0

Another function that would also be interesting is to generate random errors in the output bytes with time adjustment, that is, generate random wrong bytes to see the response from the master device.
