Modify QICK-DAWG firmware

Hi,
I wanted to ask, Is there any way to modify QICK-DAWG firmware?
I can see that in qick there are tcl and vhdl files for build it on vivado and I am not sure if I must use QICK firmware to modify QICK-DAWG or there is any other way.

I haven't uploaded the source for QICK-DAWG yet, there are only minor changes from the QICK firmware. I'm hoping to merge back with QICK in the near future.

I understand that these changes are the edge counter and some buffer change. Are there any more changes?
