Any opinions about the noble libraries? I was a little surprised that they are not mentioned.

Good question. They sound good from the descriptions and have been audited by well-known companies for cryptography code reviews. I have heard of them before.

They aren't mentioned for a couple of reasons:

1. These guidelines need an overhaul, but I'm prioritising other things and that's a massive job to do properly, so I also keep putting it off. Ideally, this type of project would be a collaboration between lots of people with experience in different areas, but that's probably never going to happen. I'm just someone with an interest learning as I go; I don't have a job related to cryptography.
2. The focus was on cryptographic libraries that provide multiple different types of primitive, whereas noble is broken up by category.
3. I've never done anything with JavaScript/TypeScript. In fact, I've never done anything with most programming languages. I've tried a few, and they always feel worse (e.g., less readable) than the language I'm currently coding in (C#), not that it's perfect.
