Really could use the layering features on note

The current condition is great. You can add an image as a template.(I use Cornell template) But it would be really great if you could add layers. Not much just put the writing on a separate layer and toggle visibility of that layer with a button. Could really help my notes. The implementation of "touch notes" app is great but that is behind a paywall.
