Cherry-pick MD icons with categories

laishulu/Sarasa-Term-SC-Nerd provide a way to cheery-pick some MD icons to avoid SNFT limits, But it's only support pick icons by consecutive codepoint, on the other hand, MD icons usually categorized by category.
Is there any way to pick icons by categories?

There are no categories in Nerd Fonts. I believe there is some downstream project that has categories, though. Was it nerdfix?

Someone else also suggested categories/tags for the icons on the website [issue link missing].
But at the moment we do not have it and it would be quite a job to categorize 10.000 icons.
That would take some (>=1) person who wants to invest quite a big chunk of time 🤔
It already starts with 'which categories do we need', with coarse and fine categories and maybe 5 'tags' for each icon?

I can certainly not do that; I already struggle with the (delayed) release of 3.4.0 ;-)
And for me much more important would be to switch away from fontforge to support variable fonts.
Furthermore I guess most people use the prepatched fonts and how many people would use such a feature as 'select icons by category for self-patched fonts' 🤔

No doubt most people use the prepatched fonts, but for CJK users Sarasa may be the only choice. It has so many glyphs that hit the SNFT limits when patching. we has to make a choice between icons, although we dont want to 😮‍💨

We could integrate a list of icons that we want to include in Sarasa, and then use that list to pre-patch Sarasa and probably others (I remember that 64k glyph limit with some proposed CJK font 1/2 year or so ago, maybe it was even Sarasa.

So maybe you have time and incentive to come up with such a list - it does not matter in which form, I can clean it up.

Then I will incorporate that list and it will automatically be used if there are not enough glyphs slots left in the to-be-patched font.

That's why I need categories for MD icons.
MD Icons has almost 7000 icons, according categories on https://pictogrammers.com/library/mdi/, I may remove icons in some categories, such as Transportation+*, Sport, Banking, Clothing and so on, for programing use.
Maybe a vote for the list?
