Archive individual conversation / Splitting Archive in tranches

Hi all,

I archived one single individual conversation by setting the ID in the Archive options.
I have 2 questions:

1. Is it possible to split the output. The .json file is 13mb big, which makes it hard for json compilers to digest.
2. I always get .json format errors when using services like minify to reduce the file or to split the file

Hey Philipp, sorry it took me long to reply.

Once you have the output, it is up to you what to do with it. Alternatively you can convert the archive output to export format. In the export format the conversation is split by day.

To convert, you can run

slackdump convert -f export -o my_archive.zip slackdump_20211231_150405/

You can customise some parameters as well, refer to slackdump help convert.
