Tabular numbers don't seem to work with the WOFF2 file

I'm really stumped trying to figure this one out - tabular numbers, using font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums; just doesn't work when using the woff2 version of Inter. It works with the TTF, but using the provided WOFF2 or converting the TTF that works to WOFF2, it just stops working. This is true across browsers.

If you look at the CSS on the Inter Lab page when tnum is enabled it includes this:

  font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums;
  font-feature-settings: "tnum";

This is the Inter-Regular.woff2 file from the Inter v4.1 release.

The fonts are fine.
It appears you have something else going on.
