Math Inside of a href

When working with \href we can do stuff like this in regular latex:

Now I want to do the same in latex2mathl and do the conversion I get the following:

Which doesn't have the same formatting as we have in latex, I believe that the mtext is making the math look strange, and I'm not sure how to fix this. Any ideas?
