The following all use the 4x3 Keypad when in "News mode"
| Key | Results |
|---|---|
| 0 | Help: Show the list of valid keys and what the key does. |
| 1 | Shows the current News Topic (example: World News, Canada, Toronto...) Also: the time/date the news was captured, and whether the CBNR is operating offline from cached news. |
| 4 | Takes you forward a news topic. Useful if the news on Edmonton (sorry, Edmonton) is not interesting. |
| 2 | Takes you back one news item. |
| 5 | Takes you forward one news item. |
| 3 | Give additional detail information about the current news topic. |
