Stock the .bin inside SD card while running the ECU

Hello!
I am trying to adapat trice to my project.
Since it will be an application running without having a plugged USB, I've been thinking if it is possible to add a feature for stocking the .bin files in an SD card (inside the board). And it will be used by the developer later for debugging, using trice. Anyone did this before ? Is it possible with the given code or shall I add a function to do it ?
