Banning failed luci attempts

Hello,
I would like to use this application to ban also the failed luci login attempts. Is this possible , and if it is, what should I change in the scripts in order to do that. Thank you

This would be easy if luci logs login attempts to syslog. But this does not seem to be the case yet (https://dev.archive.openwrt.org/ticket/14491)
