Is it still interesting to manually readout available registers from growatt server?

Currently I´m on register 612.

I'm not sure. Currently we focus on integrating register read/write support for NEO-class devices. NOAH-class will follow soon. Then we have a few message types left which aren't decodable or at least human-readable.

Poking each register from the webinterace is a really time consuming task. We should write a tool to do this automatically and with read/write support we are able to get there.
