Do you have two accounts? It might be that one code is getting all of your capital, and the other is only seeing one account? |

I just double checked, and both are using the same underlying function |

I've noticed over the past few months that the Actual/Broker/Max #s that I see when I run interactive_update_capital_manual (the automatic IB checks) are different from the ones I see when I choose 2) Update capital from IB account value. In each case, the manual update is the correct one and the "automatic" one that is done by default every 120 minutes is usually off by a few hundred $ (can be higher or lower, <1% of total capital). Obviously the times are slightly different but I'm certain it's not due to the instrument prices varying since sometimes I happen to check within 1-2 minutes of the automatic check and #s are very different.
I'm running full compounding.
Not sure if it's relevant, but I've occasionally deposited money into the account and then I've manually increased the Actual/Broker/Max using interactive_update_capital_manual to account for that.
