At the moment you have to delete it entirely. But you might not want to do that, For example if you have historic positions, or you don't want to have to backfill everything completely from scratch if you change your mind in future. The simplest solution would be to add a 'dont sample' configuration element, which would also turn off the warnings in the monitor report for that instrument. |

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to ask what would be the best practice to update pysystemtrade, if an instrument no longer trades on the exchange or IB doesn't support it anymore.
For example, I believe Heatoil-mini is no longer supported by IB, there is almost no volume on the exchange.
My mongodb has historical prices of Heatoil-mini but for a month now no daily prices are loaded, IB can't find the security and I receive error messages in stack handler.
I do not trade Heatoil-mini, I was only gathering daily prices in case I trade in the future.
What would be the best way to stop sampling and attempting to download daily prices for such instruments?
