Svelte 5 please

I saw the message about Svelte 5 in the readme but I'm hoping a bit of external encouragement might help. This is such a great component, I use it in all my projects. But I'm hitting hickups with Svelte 5 and Tailwind, especially with styling using the css variables.

Just not using 5 in my day job yet so little reason for me to upgrade to it. Wish I had the time tho 😭

There is a PR for Svelte 5 support that @kodaicoder made: #716

Could we get it merged?
