How to create custom maven archetype?

Hi, I also want to create my custom maven archetype. I fallowed your blog also. I need to publish my maven archetype into github like this custom-maven-archetypes. I could not able to achieve it. Would you please help me tell me process to publish archetype into github?

Do you mean you want to create a GitHub repository or do you want to publish it to Sonatype Nexus to make it available for all Java developers via Maven Central?
