From a private game perspective, I see several ways. The simplest is not publishing it. The sites doesn't get that much traffic. Alternately, if you create a game and add the players (and race) you want. I don't like this one, because it means you could create games with players and have to have access to their race file list, and could (in theory) create games with players and races, and then download it and look at race designs. And finally, a passcode or somesuch. I can do that, but I think the first option (security through obscurity) is probably adequate if you don't publish the game. I am going to add it to my Feature set tho. |

From a user:
I can't seem to find a setting for private games. Maybe it doesn't exist? Or maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, I'm not sure. I don't mean "private" in the sense of hiding statistics or not showing up in the past game list or something like that, necessarily, but in the sense that the host can control who joins the game (e.g. entering the player's username adds the game to their profile or something like that) it's kind of awkward to have to put a "please don't join" message on a game and hope nobody tries to mess with it. ??
