The TTS model is the easier step
What we need is better diacritics and phonetics data and model for the G2P of phonikud

Yes I still train multiple models (phonikud & piper)
Also I may train in the future bigger models such as StyleTTS2 for better quality

Will you consider first releasing in piper onnx format, small low quality model and eventually higher quality model.

I am in the process of interacting with the Stanford NLP group for better Hebrew support.

It helps if there is also TTS piper for Hebrew (officially, even it starts with lower model, but with the prospect of higher quality model later)

Here you will find progress in Piper for Hebrew support. This addresses a major missing AI (TTS), needed to completely support generative AI for Hebrew.

I'm gonna push this soon. I didn't post about the project yet (really soon)
imo the model that I uploaded to the space already sounds very good! Note: the speech model. Meaning if you provide correct phonemes it will sounds great. However, we're depend on the G2P and it is work in progress
