After disabling the pgsql endpoint by default #3088, we could think about removing it altogether which would reduce a little bit our surface area and code to maintain. From then on, users should use the REST based /query endpoint.

What is currently hard to tell is whether this feature is actively used by users or not. We should only remove it once our users are no longer using it. @igalshilman and @StephanEwen do you have more insights into whether the pgsql endpoint is being used by our users atm?
