Can a CD Ripper be added?

I am doing a project build for my Brother who has very limited eyesight and he has a load of CD's that he wants to archive to a NAS.
I have paid for volumio to get him started but it will not rip CD's straight to the NAS it has to go from the ripper to a USB HDD / SD connected directly to the streamer I built, then he has to get on a pc find and connect to the networked drives and then drag and drop between the shared folders. I would like to get this sorted for him as he is finding it very difficult.
