TUnit Support

Are there plans to support TUnit?

Nothing concrete, but you're welcome to contribute :)

That is we did look at it briefly when it got mentioned, but nobody afaik has plans to dedicate time to add it. I'm also not sure how feasible it is given that it uses quite a different approach to xunit, mstest and Nunit, but I'm sure you can shed some light on that.

Yeah as @Code-Grump mentioned, source generators can't see other source generators. So a bit sad but I guess support is off the table for now!

I don't believe it's really possible for us to support TUnit. It works by generating code, which is something we also do, and it's very hard to have code-generation be driven by other generated code.

What's the motivation for TUnit support? What would you expect it to look like?

Ah yeah. That'll be a blocker then. There's an issue open with Roslyn on source generators being able to see other source generated code. I guess blocked until if or when that happens!
