I believe the comment on the Azimuth cell in the PV tab is misleading.
"Compass direction the panel is facing (clockwise). An azimuth angle of 180 degrees means poleward facing, so for latitudes >=0 is interpreted as southwards facing, else northwards facing."
An azimuth of 180 degrees gives best solar results in both hemispheres, suggesting that it is 'equator facing', rather than 'poleward facing'.
