Starting HFS multiple times

Hi,
It seems HFS can be started multiple times (if I am not mistaken). I can't find an option to prevent this. Can you confirm if HFS can be started multiple times and if so that there is not an option in the options to prevent this?

If there is not an option to prvent HFS to be started multiple time would you consider to add an option for this in the options?

hfs can be started multiple times and there's no option to prevent it.
it makes sense to have 2 hfs with different configs.
if you don't have 2 different configs, then you should get an error message about the port being busy, i guess?

Hi,

Yes. HFS can not be accessed at all I believe. I wanted an option for starting it only once because I have started it sometimes by accident twice ( I have the console hide after starting which is a plugin).

so, the problem is relevant only to the usage of the plugin.
i published an update for the plugin, that will prevent 2 instances.

Hi,

New problem. HFS crashes or unloads when the new 'hide-console' plugin has been installed. I monitored it with process explorer and it starts and almost at once is disappears.

automatic quitting is exactly what update does,
but it should do it only if another hfs is already running.
are you sure that's not so?

Yes... In the interface of HFS it says that it is disconnected and the process disappears in process explorer :-) ... I am running WIndows 11 by-the-way.

If I install the plugin then nothing seems to be wrong. HFS keeps running. But if I close HFS and I start it again then it unloads almost instantly.
