Proper way to show toast error from within the component

Hi, I was wondering what's the best way to show the toast with custom message when the error is triggered.

I see often this pattern, but this feels wrong to me.

const Component = () => {
    const { data, isError } = useGetQuery();

    useEffect(() => {
        if (isError) {
            showToast({ message: 'Unable to get user' });
        }
    }, [isError]);

    // ...
};

Is there some best practice? The goal is to show custom error message for different queries.
