Missed transmissions and bad signal strength

Hi, I have multiple working bluetooth proxies with esphome next to my b-parasites, but they are still missing a lot of transmissions and have a pretty bad signal strength of -80-90dBm:

Is there anything I could do to improve this?

In the past I also had issues with missing broadcasts. For my esp32-s3 proxy I tweaked the scan_parameters from the esp32_ble_tracker to:

It was a few years ago, but it seemed to help. I remember it being outside of the recommended range, so try with caution. Basically I wanted to maximize the overlap of the proxy listening & the b-parasites transmitting. Since the proxy radio is shared with WiFi, it's not always listening. I also remember going from a knockoff esp32 to an official esp32-s3 improved reception, but that's anecdotal.

For reference, some of my setup: I have a single ble proxy in an adjacent room from my b-parasites. I just checked and I have some sensors with RSSI from -60dB to -90dB:
