Description
Hi team,
I was trying to set up GitSync for this project using Insomnia, but I found that the option is now grayed out / unavailable. After checking the documentation and testing, it looks like GitSync is no longer part of the free tier of Insomnia and requires a Team/Enterprise subscription.
This affects those who are using the free version of Insomnia, since we cannot directly link the project to a GitHub repository anymore. The available options are only:
-
Local Vault (local-only)
-
Cloud Sync (Insomnia’s cloud service, not Git-based)
Potential workarounds:
-
Export/Import collections manually and commit them to the repo.
-
Use Insomnia Cloud Sync (requires Insomnia account, but not Git).
-
Switch to a paid Insomnia plan if GitSync is essential.
Would you like us to switch to a manual export/import Git workflow, or should the project require Insomnia paid plan for GitSync going forward?
Thanks!
