Not urgent: Does this one liner for random colour lean green? Why?

CLITERAL(Color){10 + rand() % 245, 10 + rand() % 245, 10 + rand() % 245, 255}
Like half the colours I get with this are shades of green. Why is that?

Oh, derp, I was not using srand(time(NULL)) so i was getting the same sequence every time which just happened to be pretty verdant.
