Description
Hi, there! I love this extension and use it often! Would it be possible to implement a layout that detects whether a window is a pop-up coming from a specific domain or URL and can resize itself to the content? We use a TON of cloud-based apps and many of them open pop-ups for various workflows (such as our PLM). (Some people prefer the word "pop-out" for this kind of browser window because it's not an ad, rather a legitimate part of a web-based app's workflow — if that makes more sense to you.) One of my big annoyances is that these pop-ups pop out WAYYYY bigger than necessary, typically at the same size as the main window they came from. I then resize them manually to the size of their content because I typically have other apps open to screens I need to be able to see while working in that app.
My guess is that as more companies move towards web-based (self-hosted or cloud-hosted) apps, that I'm not the only one who is irritated by stuff like this. If implemented, this would allow me to have 4 configurations, one for pop-ups from each of the web-based apps I'm using (i.e., per base URL).
So, my biggest question to start is: is it even possible to implement? Secondly, if it is, do you think it would be worth your time (i.e., that you would find enough demand for the feature to warrant your effort)? Thank you!
