No Longer Works with Private Browsing

There was an option before that exists with other addons (using Firefox) to let the extension run in Private Browsing. As of recently, that option has disappeared and it now says this extension is not allowed to run at all in Private Browsing.

For me, being able to have this run in Private Browsing was a majority of the point in having it. If this ability isn't restored, I don't have much use for this extension. Will this option be returning and/or is there a way to remedy this issue?
