The Extension just stop working after restart browser

I'm using Firefox. For unknown reason, Block Site extension just stop working after restart browser
Steps to reproduced:

1. Download Block Site extension from Mozilla store
2. Go to a site that want to block
3. Click on the extension icon, agree with..whatever pop-up
4. Site blocked
5. Restart firefox
6. Go to the blocked site, realize it no longer block
   I tried remove the rules in Option pages and add the site in again, but it now not working
   The only solution is to reinstall the extension again. I can't find any relevant information to fix this. Please help !

This doesn't solve the issue. After restarting the browser, the extension doesn't work again.

Just want to report this is still happening in Jan 2025.

I "fixed" it once by exporting to a json, remove the extension, re-install it, and re-import the rules. However, today, the extension doesn't block the rules I've defined.

I would love to keep using this extension rather than having to switch. It's been a huge help to my productivity and screen health

Another workaround is to go into Manage Extension, then toggle the "Run in Private Windows" setting.

Easier than uninstalling / reinstalling.

There's also possibly another workaround, but I'm completely not sure how I did it. I installed another extension "Simple Blocker" as a backup to Block Site, but after installing and disabling the other extension, Block Site is now working perfectly even after browser restarts??
