DivaConSlider JLCPCB order questions #8
-
Hey, This is a really nice project, thank you very much for your effort! I'm planning to build this and for the slider I'm planning to use JLCPCB. As the BOM has Digikey part numbers I went ahead and collected the part numbers and they even have the MPR121 on stock still, but the 250mW resistors are problematic. It's one thing that all are extended parts, but the 470 and 75k ones (R2,R4,R6,R8,R13) are out of stock and there is no substitute part with the same parameters. The automatic part selector suggests 125mW versions but I'm a bit hesitant on downsizing. Should I just order them separately from somewhere and solder them myself, or will the 125mW version be OK? For the full picture, here are the components on the PCBA list Touch controller: C91322 Other thing is that do I need to worry about tooling holes? I did not see any on the picture of the assembled board and I suspect that is also PCBA (or you have excellent soldering skills :) ) |

Hi, I can't help you with PCBA, since I've never used it. I don't have excellent soldering skills, but I somehow managed to assemble it myself using a cheap hot-air gun ;) |

Hi,
all resistors on the board are used for pull-up/pull-down or signals, so using substitutes with lower amperage should pose no issue. The LED's part number matches the ones I also used. Capacitors should also be fine.
