Aligning Diagonal Characters

I’m a big fan of the diagonal line character, which I personally call "the diag": ╱. In terminals, diags should visually connect when vertically stacked.

Here's how they look in Kitty, which is correct:

Here's how they currently look in Rio:

I will add that I prefer the thicker weight in Rio, so the only change I'd suggest is that they align.
