Benchmarking Botan vs. OpenSSL

"How does Botan perform compared to OpenSSL in terms of performance?" is often a question of new users and users thinking about migrating their applications to Botan.

Therefore, we should publish benchmarks on the website, wiki, or something along. In order to get a good overview, we should collect benchmark results from different architectures and systems.
