interested in adopting DBIish ... but slowly !

Hi there,

As suggested in https://rakudoweekly.blog/2025/01/13/2025-02-ditana/, I'm expressing here my interest in adopting DBIish, an important module that is apparently orphan at the moment.

I'm quite used to databases and I know Perl5's DBI in great detail, being the author of the https://metacpan.org/pod/DBIx::DataModel ORM -- and I'm also aware that Raku DBIish is not a direct port from Perl5 DBI.

The only thing is ... so far I've only been remotely following Raku's progress, without any fluency in practicing the language. This project could be a great opportunity to make the step, learn Raku in detail and do something useful for the community. I will have plenty of time for that in 2026, I will be retired at that time. But as far as 2025 is concerned, I'm still working full-time with a number of important projects to work on, so I will have limited bandwidth during the initial year.
