Hierarchical KGs as features

Is the work open to new features like hierarchical KGS? In the real world, many concepts are naturally organized hierarchically (e.g., "animal" -> "mammal" -> "dog"). I believe this idea can enhance reasoning and generalization. Additionally, this might be useful in the cases where same nodes appear multiple times. I am curious about how this can help in other downstream tasks like classification, clustering, etc.
