I just saw in release information that rabbitmq 4.1 is released today. Does the rabbitmq-rtopic-exchange plugin v4.0.9 also supports the new release? There are some good features in 4.1. Thank you!

No, the v4.0.9 plugin is restricted to run only with RabbitMQ 4.0.x (not because of code incompatibility, but because of a version restriction https://github.com/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-rtopic-exchange/blob/v4.0.9/Makefile#L9) Usually RabbitMQ community plugins support one minor version release series.
I'm sure there will be soon a release of this plugin for RabbitMQ 4.1.x series.
