The panic happens if there is a large difference between two commit.s The issue is in the package [go-git ](https://github.com/src-d/go-git) , which uses another to package [git-diff](https://github.com/sergi/go-diff). Tried debugging and added my comments in go-diff [issue89](https://github.com/sergi/go-diff/issues/89). Its yet to get solved.
