Layout is broken on IceCat

Several layout features depend on features that are broken on IceCat, I guess? Though I have the script-blocking extensions turned off. See issues #5 #4, which I closed when I realized they only happen on IceCat.

Also, the animated borders around items don't work on IceCat, so they look confusing:

Up to devs if this is really an issue, but IMO a documentation site should strive to be as accessible as possible.

i'd fixed text in dark mode in the latest commit, the problem (from what i saw with fixing the dark mode text) is that icecat doesn't have the CSS update that implements nested classes, a lot of what fixing this whole thing entails is rewriting all of it to old CSS
