Remove Triggers and Jobs if not referenced

I'm using Quartz.net and extension methods to registers jobs and triggers. If I update the code to no longer add that trigger, how can I make it so that the trigger/job is removed? currently they persist but if I say comment out the line that registers FooJob, how do i get it to not keep running FooJob?
