How do I have the chapters (like table of contents) have its own page also, instead of only being the sidebar?

In the _quarto.yml file, we set our chapters and parts for each of the pages.

I was just wondering if there is a way to automatically generate a page that generates something like a sidebar.

Could you elaborate? What's the format you are targeting? Is it a book project (I guess it is)?

Yes, it's a book project. Sorry that wasn't clear.

So this is what's contained in quarto.yml:

...
book:
  chapters:
    - index.qmd
    - page.qmd
    - part: <hr>
    - part: 'Home'
      chapters: 
        - another_page.qmd
...

Currently, this generates a nice sidebar for every page. On top of generating the sidebars for all the pages, I would also like for it to generate an html page that generates these chapters links, like table of contents like a real book.

Would this be possible?

You want the list of chapters as a Table of Content in each chapters (not as a sidebar)?
Currently, there is no native way to do that, so you would need to use an include shortcode or Lua filter to inject what you want.
