How to install tesseract to ubi base image

I must admit I'm having problems with it, and I will likely need another day or 2 before I figure it out...
Help appreciated!

I'm using standard jvm image atm:

I managed to install tesseract... I didn't try (yet) if it works at runtime :)
I'm documenting steps here. Maybe it will save you some headackes. The solution is not perfect by any means.
