Placing inputs in a popup

I've a button "add new" and I'd like to show the input form in a modal dialog.

Currently I got the error:

AssertionError: popup() content must be list of str/put_xxx()

the pin modules are nice, but then many things have to be "manually" that otherwise are already in input_group
For example, how to add validation in place to put_input?

It would be a new nice feature, to have a popup=True/False attribute in input_group

I like the frame in the input_group: how to reproduce it with a put_xxx element?

you don't need to use input_group for pin objects.
just write them all and then from pywebio.session import hold and all your inputs are there!
