Set class variables before initialising fixtures

Can i change values "new_links" and "new_buttons" to "old_links", "old_buttons" before initialising "special_fixture" ?

class TestDownload:
    new_links = None
    new_buttons = None

    @pytest.mark.parametrize("links, buttons", [('https://github.com/', 123), ('https://example.com/', 456)])
    def test_d(self, links, buttons, special_fixture):
            ...

@pytest.fixture(scope="function")
def del_files(request):
    yield
    print(request.cls.new_links, request.cls.new_buttons)
