Video - how to use pyswmm with swmmio to create a simple map visualization

Hey folks,

Just wanted to share a quick video tutorial that shows how to generate a map visualization of a SWMM model, using pyswmm as the engine to run the simulation.

Below is a sample of code you can use as a starting place for your project. Just update Example.inp with the path to your inp file, and update the crs based on the projection used in your model.

from pyswmm import Simulation
import swmmio

with Simulation('./Example1.inp') as sim:
    for step in sim:
        pass 

model = swmmio.Model('Example1.inp', crs='epsg:3728')
swmmio.create_map(model, filename='my-cool-map.html')

This will output a file called my-cool-map.html that looks something like this:
