PyMuPDF-1.23.17 released

PyMuPDF-1.23.17 has been released.

Wheels for Windows, Linux and MacOS, and the sdist, are available on pypi.org and can be installed in the usual way, for example:

python -m pip install --upgrade pymupdf

[Linux-aarch64 wheels will be built and uploaded later.]

Changes in version 1.23.17 (2024-01-22)

• Bug fixes:

  • Fixed page_rotation_reset does not return page to original rotation #3062
  • Fixed update_link(): AttributeError: 'Page' object has no attribute 'super' #3070

• Other:

  • Fixed bug in Page.links() (PR Fix Page.links generator #3075).
  • Fixed bug in Page.get_bboxlog() with layers.
  • Add support for timeouts in scripts/ and tests/run_compound.py.

Note that the sdist is not available for this release because it is too large for pypi.org.

We have a fix in our internal tree to reduce the size of the sdist, which will allow it to be uploaded to pypi.org in our next release.
