This is a request aimed at someone already using MicroPython. Otherwise, I could present my experiences as a newbie in one of the next meetups.
Description
MicroPython is an implementation of Python that lets you run programs on microcontrollers without the need for an underlying OS, like with the Raspberry Pi.
It is a simple entry into the world of microcontrollers but could also be useful for rapid prototyping of IoT devices.
With the ESP8266 and ESP32 two famous boards are supported that are not only cheap (~10€) but come with "batteries included", e.g. WiFi, Bluetooth, ADCs.
