Small QoL idea: Set filters on inverters by a single click

With splitters, you can set the filter with a single click by having an item in hand and clicking the filter-by square.

For inserters, one has to first check the Use Filters checkbox, and then click on the square to set the recipe (two clicks). If it is easy to change, I think a nice QoL feature would be that the checkbox is automatically checked

This would be a good general QoL feature for Factorio, but it's not one that can be modded in anyway. You can create a forum request for the addition on forums.factorio.com

This can be accomplished with an Autohotkey script.

Press a key and a script mouseclicks on Use Filters checkbox, then it clicks on Whitelist toggle (personally I want to whitelist something 90% of the time), then it clicks on bottom right field where item is chosen and finally sends CTRL+F, or whatever your search hotkey is. Last step can be skipped if you have an item in hand.

Take a screenshot to figure out X,Y coordinates of every element that needs to be clicked.
