How do you unlock/use circuit network ?

Hi ! I'm new to py and just created a new game (almost done crafting my first circuit !).
I researched Copper processing 1 which promised me I could use circuit network, but nothing unlocked. There's a circuit network technology, but it doesn't unlock wires.
So my question is : how do you use circuit network ? How do you unlock red/green wires ? Is it a bug, or is it just me that don't understand how circuit networks work in this mod ?
Anyway, I'm having a blast playing this mod. Kudos for the dev.

There are two buttons near the toolbar, once you unlock Copper 1.
