What is the update you wish to see?

I would like to fix the text-selection functionality in the docs when using Firefox on Macos 15.5, as text highlighting does not work as expected.

When attempting to select and highlight text in the documentation pages using Firefox, the expected highlighting functionality fails or behaves inconsistently. This issue specifically occurs on Firefox and could potentially impact usability for users who regularly need to copy or reference documentation snippets.

That's looks like a specific firefox browser issue on the technical level.

Was du mit "css trick" meinst weiß ich nicht, dazu habe ich in der Linksammlung nichts gefunden. Könnest du mich hier ggf. noch einmal direkt drauf verweisen?

Hi @sdvg, genau weiß ich es auch nicht mehr, aber ich meinte wohl folgendes:

::selection {
  background-color: ...;
  color: ...;
}

Wir sollten beraten, ob wir das in die Basis a11y.css aufnehmen, um den Kontrast beim Selektieren global sicherzustellen.
